Cute spot! No table service but still a pleasant experience. We would have sat outside but the heaters weren't on. I decided to try this unusual strawberry shortcake-like breakfast dish, sweet and delicious. They have mimosas! I would definitely come back to this place.

Growing up in South Seattle, I'd often pass this place on my way to Renton. I finally had the chance to try it with a friend for brunch after Christmas, so it was less crowded than usual. I loved the spacious, camping-themed decor and the (currently) lovely lake view, though it looks like a house is being built that may eventually obstruct it. We arrived just in time to avoid the traffic jam at their single entrance/exit parking lot, though neighborhood parking is available. The setup is self-serve: you order at the counter, grab your own food when the buzzer goes off, and pick up drinks as the barista calls them out. There's a second floor, but it was a bit crowded, so we opted for the patio. It was a little chilly outside, but thankfully they had plenty of heat lamps to keep the middle tables comfortable. We ordered the Eggs Benedict (with runny eggs, as requested), Chicken Fried Steak, and the Soup of the Day (wild rice chicken). We also got two 16oz hot drinks: a Creamsicle Latte and a Matcha Pistachio Latte. Our total was $69.34 with tip. The Creamsicle Latte had an initial overall sweetness, but the orange flavor was more of an aftertaste. We were hoping for a more consistent creamy orange flavor throughout, but my friend still enjoyed it. As a matcha enthusiast, I tried the Matcha Pistachio Latte, but unfortunately, the matcha flavor wasn't as prominent as I wanted. The pistachio flavor was very strong and sweet, which would be great for pistachio latte lovers, but I personally wished for a better balance of both flavors. The Eggs Benedict, with the perfectly runny eggs and tasty bread, was good, but after a few bites, I found myself getting a bit overwhelmed by the richness of the dish. I tried adding some Tabasco for a kick, but I still felt it needed something to cut through the richness. A side of vegetables would have been a welcome addition to refresh the palate. I had a similar experience with the Chicken Fried Steak. The Soup of the Day, however, was excellent! The creamy broth, tender chicken, and lovely texture of the wild rice were complemented perfectly by the crunchy oyster crackers. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, especially sharing a first American brunch with my friend. If I return, I'll definitely choose a creamy main dish and a vegetable-based dish to balance the richness. I recommend this place for the ambiance and some of their dishes, just be mindful of the richness of some of the menu items.

What a superb place! We had their eggs Benedict, stone house platter with chicken sausage, chicken and waffles, and baked French toast! Everything tasted amazing. I am surprised by how much my kids ate (a bit of everything). Also recommend their maple sea salt latte! It was delicious! Staff is also super friendly! Just a heads up that it's counter service! :)

Changed it up this time. I ordered a mushroom and spinach cheesey omelette with a side of bacon. It was delicious perfect size. Potato's were tasty. Also ordered a nonfat vanilla latte that was excellent! Service was great!! During the winter it's a bit chilly even inside I would recommend sitting by one of the heaters.

Loved this spot a lot. While you'd assume it's busy on a weekend, the manageable crowd laired nicely with the variety of indoor and outdoor seating opportunities in its self serve, first come first serve dining experience. Across the road is Lake Washington, which can be seen when dining in the outdoor patio area. Spent hours here chatting with my friends for brunch and never felt like we were getting geared to be kicked out, or taking up too much time at the table. Watched others sit and enjoy family meals and others sit and play chess! Ordering occurs online or at their counter, with menus on the counter to be grabbed and brought to your table at your own discretion. Got myself the Chicken and Waffles, with Ube and regular Maple Syrup. Chicken was very well heavily seasoned and crispy, as well as large. Waffle was nice and a classic. While I wanted to love the ube syrup, I just felt it was lackluster in flavor (while gorgeous in color), so I felt I went for maple more the most. The specialty cookie coffee was delicious iced and was paired with a Biscoff cookie individually packaged. Condiments, water, and other table compliments you may need for your time dining is located on a little bar display inside. Cleaning tables and your items occurs in bins located outside.

Great spot by the water - Fun Events - Tasty Coffee It's got a real cozy cabin feel. I've come here to study and another time for a brunch date, I love it here! It's scenic by the water and the staff are exceptionally friendly (Midwest gal, no Seattle freeze here). I enjoy their drip coffee best and their food is decent. Their French toast isn't your typical but it was a nice change, eggs and bacon can't go wrong! They host monthly events, I need to make it out to one they look really fun! I always look at other peoples food, everything looks delicious! Parking is limited so if the lot looks full just park across the street. Seating inside is minimal so bring some extra layers, outside is cold even with their heaters.

Awesome warm place - good food, friendly folks, heated patio for your pups. It's self bussing. Was here for a dog competition. The back area that they call as the Bakery is a fun place to take Christmas pictures. It's like a cool little North Pole back there. There are a lot of food and drink options - both breakfast and lunch items. Go check it out!

Located right across the street from Lake Washington, beautiful views of the water from dining inside (top floor) or the outdoor patio. Patio seating does have outdoor heaters during the fall and winter season. Parking is limited but street parking is also available. Great selection of breakfast menu items (American) but also breakfast specials are offered with different cuisines. They were out of the longanisa platter but our friend had the gumbo which he said tasted good. Portions are generous. No wait service, you order food/drinks from the counter, and you're given a pager to pick up your food when it's available. This plates gets busy the weekends so expect a wait, but it's worth it. They do have events such as live music (Djs) for 90s R&B on Sundays, and even have stand up comedy during the evening about once a month.

The staff was very friendly and whipped up a great veggie scramble very quickly. The inside is quite eclectic and they had decorated quick aggressively for Halloween. I'm not a big Halloween person so it wasn't my favorite, but the food was very good!
